HOW IT WORKS
The research is gathered using wireless sensors placed within spaces which collect highly accurate usage data. Unlike manual surveys which rely on extensive (and costly) human observation, these sensors produce reliable and credible evidence which unequivocally demonstrates how often a space is occupied throughout the day.
The data collected by the Sensors can be accessed live via a web portal or retrospectively via the same portal to provide occupancy Trend information over a period of time. Data can be interrogated over a range of buildings, an individual building, floor or room.
Studies have been conducted in a wide range of industries, including health and education.
Across these industries, the studies have shown that for large periods of time private offices, meeting rooms, training suites, lecture theatres, bookable and exclusive use clinical rooms are either grossly under utilised or totally unoccupied.
The data also demonstrates that:
We are more than happy to discuss our space utilisation studies and robust, impartial evidence with you to. As there is no need for human manipulation of the data collected by the sensors you will save money by using sensors of this nature.
